Numbers have deceived us since the very beginning my friend, they’ve deceived us all the time!
We thought that 2 is bigger than 1, we compared 3 against 2, but we’ve forgotten the fact that all of them are the repetition of 1. We just ascribed those repetitions a meaning. We thought 2 is independent from 1, but the answer of all calculations came to the same thing, 1. The only thing which is expected from us was the fact that how many 1 numbers that answer consist of. We’ve forgotten that!
We’re deceived my friend, we’re deceived. Those numbers have deceived us since the very beginning!
For the sake of those numbers, we’ve wanted to choose the best school, or best job, or even the best partner. We’re convinced that the more ones in our pocket the more happiness we get. Shortly, we’ve just invested in future my friend. We’ve never invested in ourselves, and that future has never come. As the name implies, it’s “future”. We’ve contrasted those workers in overalls with managers in suits. In this comparison, one side lives in apartments and the other side lives in residence, so what? Don’t these two just meet the need for shelter? Don’t they just live? As I mentioned it before, they made us to believe the more money in our pocket the more happiness we can get. Our job or profit which we gain from doesn’t matter. The only thing which is important was the fact that how proper we performed that. If people had performed their jobs with a common consciousness instead of counting those ones in their pockets, the society would advance automatically as well as those people. Are you a servant? Then provide the appropriate environment that makes people more productive. Are you an engineer? Then generate more for the advancement of humanity. Are you a manager? Then direct people to the goodness. With this perspective, all of those prejudices, criticisms, disrespectfulnesses disappear. Every single person does his duty for the purpose of advancing the humanity. That’s all!
My dear friend, we’re deceived with shapes. In our mind’s eye, we’ve already separated 2 and 1 from each other. That’s why we’ve classified people in our mind. We were obsessed with levels of prosperity and chairs. If people had done their duty to the best instead of counting those 2 or 3 numbers, all of them would be happy. You become either 4 or 5, what’s the odds? Because both of them is a repetition of 1, they’re same after all. The more repetitions the more confusions, so to say.
